as a supplier of HMI unit which will be used in manufactured trainsets for Mecca and Jeddah-Medina in Saudi Arabia project. There will be 35 of very-high-speed-trains Talgo 350 (known in Spanish as “El Pato” for its duck head shape running on this 450-km line, providing services to over 160,000 pilgrims/day and 60 million passengers/year. Estimated traffic peak between 11,000 and 13,000 passengers/hour. It will be one of the safest, most modern lines with the highest quality in the world. The contract includes supplying of 35 high-speed trains (300 km/h) with an option to purchase a further 23 trains during operation period. It also involves building a double electrified track that will link Mecca and Medina in less than two and half hours.
