Communication devices that provide a reliable connection for fire alarms to a vehicle MVB network have been delivered by AMiT to the German company WAGNER Bayern, a specialist in providing fire safety solutions for railway and rolling stock. These are MVB/CAN convertors with the redundant transmission of signals between MVB and CAN networks. The fire alarm system of the German company will be deployed in a project for the Italian national railway operator Trenitalia.

Further successfully-completed projects of the IP surveillance system ACASYS VS abroad delivered include the IP solutions of full rear-view mirrors replacement for the Romanian manufacturer of railway vehicles Softronic. The manufacturer fitted them in the 480 series of modern electric locomotives – the Transmontana and the Hyperion 4-car low-floor EMU units. The Hyperion units are operated by the Romanian national operator CFR Călători on the line Craiova–Bucharest–Constanta from the second half of this year.
