AMiT has developed and currently supplies new TFT displays designed for railways with the corresponding EN 50155 standard, equipped with the ARM Cortex-A53 processors. Deployment of ARM processors significantly reduces power consumption and increases the graphics performance of the units. Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (ZSSK) put into regular operation new 1st class cars of the Ampz series (A-160) from the Slovak manufacturer ŽOS Vrútky. Another order for the supply of electronics for metro cars was won by AMiT for the Polish capital of Warsaw, where it will supply electronics for 45 metro trains. In recent weeks, the Transportation division of the AMiT company has successfully delivered and implemented its first project in Belarus in form of a complete passenger information system (PIS) and TCN for the new METRO cars for Minsk (Belarus) manufactured by CJSC Stadler. AMiT will supply SIEMENS with its electronics for 50 Railjet vehicles.

AMiT will equip all 50 vehicles RailJet Siemens with a passenger information system, a reservation system and a WiFi system for passengers. In each set there will also be one car with AMiT children’s cinema. Deliveries will take place between December 2019 and January 2021 and will meet the requirements of the latest revisions of the TSI standards.
