AMiT, spol. s r.o. is a major contributor to the implementation of the ČD 182 project by supplying its electronics. The project involves 182 new Viaggio Comfort cars of the Siemens Mobility – Škoda Transportation consortium, intended for České Dráhy. For AMiT, this is the second delivery of electronic components for Viaggio Comfort cars for the above-mentioned consortium. AMiT’s portfolio of Ethernet TCN routers for rolling stock was recently expanded by devices RB-RTExxx. Within the railway installation, these router provide connection between ETB and ECN Ethernet networks. Routers from the RB-RTExxx family are fitted with four independent 1Gbps Ethernet ports, out of which two are reserved for communication via ETB (Ethernet Train Backbone) network.
