The Finnish tram contractor Transtech has selected AMiT’s IP audio and camera equipment for 40 ARTIC low-floor trams that are to cruise the streets of Helsinki.

IP surveillance system , IP audio equipment, diagnostic HMI together with the emergency intercoms are implemented in 20 two-vehicle FLIRT3 trains made by Stadler. These trains are operated by Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna, Poland.

It is worth mentioning as a significant the AMiT’s solution for the recording and evaluation of brake states in 20 eight-vehicle FLIRT3 EMU units. The IP solution includes a complete diagnostics of the braking system and separate Ethernet communication infrastructure. The delivery also includes panel computers HMI, which display operating states of the trains. The EMUs are being implemented by a consortium of Stadler and Newag, and will be operated by Polish national carrier PKP Intercity.
