AMiT will supply its rugged on-board diagnostic TCMS (Train Control and Management System) panel computers (HMIs) in project of eight FLIRT3 trainsets delivery from the Swiss rolling stock manufacturer Stadler Rail. The HMIs will carry out a diagnostic function server, such functions as process and status visualization of the trainset technologies according to UIC 612, a non-safety driver operation and digital rear view mirror functionality.

The trainsets are eight 4-car articulated FLIRT3 (Fast Light Innovative Regional Train) diesel-electric multiple units (DMUs), which will operate the new Tex Rail commuter line 14 km long in Fort Worth, Texas, US. The trainsets are due to start operating on this new line in September 2018. A tendered price of the contract delivery of trains by Stadler is 106.7 miles. USD and includes the supply of components for 10 years. The contract also includes an option to supply another 24 DMU trains.
