CCTV system for new DMU861 units for Slovak Railways. System provide monitoring of interior of train units as well as monitoring outside space along the train. The solution consists from 12 inside cameras and 4 outside cameras with special designed outside covers made from alluminium. The covers comply strict norms for mechanical and electrical protection against fall of overhead line. All camera images are sent through the ethernet network to TFT panels on driver cabins and also to recording unit capable to store video stream for period of one week. Functionality of whole system is independent from other vehicle`s vital systems, but can be also controlled by VCU via inputs from the driver cabin.
